Albany Historic Precinct

Albany's heritage precinct preserves the oldest European settlement in Western Australia, founded in 1826 — pre-dating Perth by three years — with the Old Gaol, the Residency Museum, Patrick Taylor Cottage and the restored brig Amity forming a remarkable tableau of early colonial life.
