Alpha Box & Dice

Since 2008 this McLaren Vale label has been working through an alphabet of wine — one letter per project, leaning hard on alternative and mostly Mediterranean varieties. Sam Berketa has made the wines since 2016, working with a network of growers across the state. The cellar door is a heritage-listed barn: seated tastings eight to a table, or a rug on the lawn. No hens or bucks.
