Blue Mountains Cultural Centre

The building alongside Katoomba's Carrington Hotel holds more than most expect: a city art gallery, public library, and *Into the Blue* — an interactive exhibition on the Blue Mountains' history and landscape. A rooftop viewing platform looks out over the Jamison Valley. The programming runs to beekeeping workshops and urban art trails, which says something about the breadth of ambition here.
