Buku-Larrŋgay Mulka at Yirrkala is one of Australia's most significant Aboriginal art centres, representing the Yolŋu people of northeast Arnhem Land whose bark paintings, prints and sculptures gave rise to the modern Australian Aboriginal art movement. Its archive holds the originals of the famous Yirrkala Church Panels of 1962.
