Burrinja Cultural Centre

Named for Yorta Yorta artist Lin Onus — who campaigned to save the building from commercial sale — Burrinja translates as "star," his nickname. Three-time Best Small Museum in Victoria, it runs four gallery spaces, a 400-seat theatre, and artist studios out of a community-held building in the Dandenong Ranges foothills. Open Wednesday to Sunday.
