The Story
Each July, Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists converge on Cairns' Tanks Arts Centre for four days of gallery exhibitions, fashion performances, and live music. Now in its 17th year, CIAF runs an art fair showcase alongside an artisans market and an On Country VIP program. The 2026 theme, *Reclamation Regeneration*, comes with a $70,000 commissioning fund backing major new works.
