Cannery Arts Centre

Esperance's not-for-profit community arts centre, set in a former cannery on Norseman Road opposite the ocean. Its main gallery runs a rolling program of contemporary and touring shows, and the building also holds the Esperance Pottery Club, an artists-in-residence program, workshops, concerts, a community garden and a shop carrying more than twenty-five local makers. It runs the annual Cannery Art Awards and a scholarship for emerging artists, backed by the Shire of Esperance, Lotterywest and Regional Arts WA.
