Civic Theatre Newcastle

A live performance venue at 375 Hunter Street, run by the City of Newcastle alongside its sister sites City Hall and the Playhouse. The program moves across stand-up comedy, musical theatre, opera and orchestral concerts, with touring acts and companies such as Opera Australia and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra passing through. The building is also available for venue hire and runs schools education bookings.
