The Story
In Corryong, this volunteer-run museum traces the pioneers of the Upper Murray. Its displays centre on Jack Riley, the bushman who met Banjo Paterson and inspired his poem, with a replica of Riley's hut and his personal effects. Elsewhere sit a nationally significant ski collection, wartime relics including a POW-made rug and a Changi walking stick, and historical photographs and documents.
