The Story
Darwin Aviation Museum preserves the story of Darwin's critical role in WWII — the city was bombed more than 60 times between 1942 and 1943 — with an impressive collection of aircraft including a B-52 Stratofortress, a Spitfire and the remains of Japanese and Allied aircraft recovered from the Timor Sea.
