Thirty years of growing grapes on Kangaroo Island earns Dudley Wines its pioneer status. The clifftop cellar door, 12km from the Penneshaw ferry, looks out across Backstairs Passage toward the mainland — a view that does some heavy lifting. Fourteen wines, all island-grown, available by tasting paddle or glass. There's also a one-hole golf course, which is either charming or absurd depending on your handicap.
