Girringun Aboriginal Art Centre

Nine Traditional Owner groups — Nywaigi, Gugu Badhan, Warrgamay, Warungnu, Bandjin, Girramay, Gulngay, Jirrbal and Djiru — share one address on Victoria Street, Cardwell. The art centre is their collective vehicle for keeping cultural knowledge moving between generations. Come for the works; the native plant nursery next door, specialising in bush tucker species, is worth the detour.
