The Story

Run by the Gladstone Maritime History Society, this museum on Flinders Parade in the East Shores Marina Parklands holds vessels, model ships, navigational aids and shipwreck relics, alongside a library of hundreds of papers and journals. Berthed nearby is HMAS Gladstone, a 42-metre ex-Navy Fremantle Class patrol boat open for boat tours on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 3pm.
