Greenough Historical Settlement
Greenough, WA
The Story
Greenough Historical Settlement preserves stone and timber buildings from the 1850s settlement on the Greenough River. The cluster of colonial dwellings, church, and outbuildings reflects rural life during Western Australia's pastoral expansion. Visitors walk through occupied or interpreted buildings to examine construction techniques and domestic arrangements of the period. The settlement sits inland from Geraldton, in country where granite outcrops and river red gums frame the precinct.
