Heartwood Malt Whisky

This innovative Tasmanian distillery operates with the philosophy that "isolation leads to innovation," storing over 40,000 litres of whisky in diverse oak barrels from French, American, and Hungarian cooperages. They craft both single malts and blended whiskies using spirits from 20+ Australian and New Zealand distilleries, maturing them in barrels previously used for everything from bourbon and sherry to Australian muscat and Portuguese port.
