The Story
A collection of Australian settlement history spread across a village site at Highfields, west of the range. Its museums run from the Southern Cross Museum to the Toowoomba Fire Brigade Museum, alongside a Heritage Chapel, a village silversmith, a toy shop of handmade wooden toys and a reconstructed slab cottage. Guided tours are available, with EFTPOS facilities on site.
