Hurstville Museum and Gallery

Run by Georges River Council, this museum and gallery holds around 6,000 objects and artworks drawn from the local area. Its permanent exhibition, St George Stories, traces the history of the district, while a rotating schedule of exhibitions runs alongside talks, workshops and programs for children and school groups. The Dragon's Lair Gallery is a dedicated space for Georges River artists to show their work. Entry is free. The permanent gallery offers audio descriptions accessed by QR code and large print guides for Main Gallery exhibitions.
