Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway
Central Coast, NSW
The Story
On the banks of the Parramatta River in Concord West, this free outdoor memorial traces the 1942–43 Kokoda campaign through lush tropical planting — a deliberate contrast to the conditions it commemorates. The Ralph Honner Kokoda Education Centre carries a projected digital honour roll of every Australian killed in the campaign. Commemorative services mark ANZAC Day, VP Day, and Kokoda Day.
