Newport Railway Museum

A collection of steam, diesel and electric trains, along with other railway exhibits, held at Champion Road in Newport. The museum opens to the public every Saturday from noon to 5pm, and on selected Sundays through the year, including the third Sunday of each month and school holiday periods. Outside these hours it can open by appointment for group bookings, and it draws school excursions, car clubs, photography clubs, and RSL and Probus groups.
