NSW Rail Museum

Rail heritage fills this Thirlmere site in Sydney's south-west, where historic locomotives and carriages sit alongside interactive exhibitions and working train rides. Visitors can step inside the rolling stock, and steam services run during school holidays. A weekly program for parents, carers, babies and toddlers runs on-site, and a Loop Line upgrade will return heritage trains to Colo Vale.
