Port Fairy History Centre

Run by the Port Fairy Historical Society, founded in 1963, this museum and archive sits on the Moyne River at 30 Gipps Street. Its volunteers work to preserve the history of Port Fairy and district, from pioneering families and early industry to festivals and the built environment. A family researcher is usually on hand Saturdays, when the museum opens from 2 to 4pm.
