The Story
Housed in the 1876 Old Police Sergeant's Residence at 10 Farrer Place, this museum tells the story of Queanbeyan and its district through a collection of more than 4,000 items across ten galleries and outdoor areas. Exhibits range from the Ngambri people before European arrival to an iron lung from the 1950s polio epidemic, William Farrer's parlour piano and a 30-metre mural. Run by volunteers, open weekend afternoons.
