Questacon — National Science & Technology Centre

Open daily from 9am to 5pm on Parkes' museum strip, this national science and technology centre fills its galleries with hands-on exhibitions, live shows and workshops. Current displays include Quantum Tomorrow: Imagined Futures and Illuminate: How Science Comes to Light, while travelling programs reach schools and communities across Australia. A café and shop sit alongside the galleries.
