Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre

Run by Snowy Hydro from its Cooma base on the Monaro Highway, the Discovery Centre is the public-facing side of a hydro-electric operation that has generated power for close to seventy years across 16 stations. Displays trace the Snowy Scheme's history and the Snowy 2.0 project now underway. There is a shop, and the centre takes group bookings alongside general visits.
