Tara Distillery

Alarna Doherty grew up at Irish music sessions and developed a taste for single pot still whiskey. In 2020, she and partner Ben Stephenson opened the Shoalhaven's first distillery in over 140 years, running entirely on harvested rainwater. The range spans pot still whiskey, poitín, limoncello, vodka, coffee liqueur and several gins — including a barrel-aged expression and one called The Exile.
