Throsby Park Historic Site
Southern Highlands, NSW
The Story
A colonial homestead and farming estate near Moss Vale, roughly 140 kilometres south of Sydney, Throsby Park passed from the National Parks and Wildlife Service to Museums of History NSW in 2010. In the years since, the care-worn property has been cleaned up, stabilised and conserved, its rural buildings held for their place in the southern highlands' early pastoral history.
