Walhalla Historic Township

A historic township in Victoria's mountain rivers country, where a heritage railway runs from Walhalla Station on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays and mine tours descend into the old goldfields most days of the week. Visitors pan for gold, walk and cycle the surrounding trails, and find accommodation and places to eat across the wider Rawson, Erica and Mt Baw Baw region. Open year-round, with winter kept warm by the fire.
