Werribee Mansion is a magnificent 60-room Italianate mansion built in 1877 by the wealthy Chirnside brothers on their pastoral estate along the Werribee River. The house and its formal gardens, reopened after major restoration, are among the grandest expressions of colonial pastoral wealth in Australia.
