Wittunga Botanic Garden

A 13-hectare garden in the suburb of Blackwood, holding water-wise plants from Australia and South Africa, with Ericas and Proteas that flower through spring. Plantings from Kangaroo Island and the Fleurieu Peninsula fill out the collection, and a lake draws native birds and animals. A nature-inspired playspace sits within the grounds for younger visitors.
