The reason to stop is the Ransley Veteran Car Collection: 18 vehicles assembled by Francis Ransley, including engine no. 31, the equal-oldest surviving Ford, brought from the United States in 1989 and driven 26,000km around Australia for the company's centenary. A Model K, one of roughly twenty left, sits beside it. The council also programmes a gallery space, with a new local artist each month.
